One silver lining of the coronavirus pandemic is that the promotional products industry is likely to emerge from it a bit wiser.

PPAI reports record-setting numbers for its certification programs in June. 516 people earned the titled of Certified Advertising Specialist (CAS), Master Advertising Specialist (MAS), and Master Advertising Specialist Plus (MAS+).

The record numbers come as more people in the industry likely have time on their hands to pursue education and certifications. PPAI had also waived fees for education sessions and certifications from April through June.

The outcome is as the promotional products industry navigates and eventually exits the pandemic, it will be an industry with a raised level of expertise.
